Season of Arrivals Top Issues and Vital Information

Vital Information

General

• XBOX players who pre-ordered Destiny 2: Beyond Light need to highlight D2 on the Dashboard, click "Manage game & add-ons" and install the Beyond Light items in the "Ready to install" area. Then, relaunch D2 and view the Cryptarch's inventory in the Tower to claim the pre-order items.
• Season Passes will be applied to the first account that signs in. If you plan to Cross Save but will use another character set, it's recommended to set up Cross Save before logging in. For more information, click here.
• Universal Ornaments will only appear on certain Legendary armor pieces called Armor 2.0. These armor pieces will show an Energy cost on them.

Seasonal Content

• Players with the  “Red on Red” Crucible Quest will need to reach the Mythic Valor rank to complete the “Unfurl the Banner” quest step, not the Fabled Valor rank.
• Dismantling an  Umbral Engram will not give any rewards.
• If a player's engram inventory is full when decrypting Umbral Engrams, a legendary engram may go to the Postmaster instead of the item going to a player's inventory.
• Players who dismantle the  Season of Arrivals intro quest can reacquire it from Zavala.
• Boss kills will grant bonus progression for the Scornful Shadow, Bloodied Legion, Delete Executable, and Breakin' some Taken  Prismatic Recaster Daily Bounties.
• Players will be blocked from completing the  Prismatic Recaster weekly ritual loop if previously completed on a character of the same class earlier that week.
• Seasonal consumables will be deleted when Season of Arrivals ends.

Error Codes

• Error codes  ANTEATER and  RABBIT.

Event Content

• The lower half of the Warlock Blood Lineage Robes Universal Armor Ornament from the Festival of the Lost event will experience a visual texture error at the launch of Beyond Light. This issue will be resolved in a patch soon after release.
• Shaders do not properly apply to the Majestic and Magnificent Robes, Cloaks, and Marks from the Solstice of Heroes event.

General

• Players can no longer gain Clan XP.
• The Seasons tab of the Director will flash to indicate an available reward when none are there.
• Some players may not receive rewards from Garden of Salvation encounter chests.
• Some players may not receive progress on Crucible and Iron Banner quests and bounties.
• When using HDR , the Brightness Slider doesn't appear to work, and dark areas are hard to see.

PC

• Players running Destiny with an integrated graphics card may encounter gameplay performance issues if the integrated graphics card does not meet the minimum required PC specs. They may also notice that the Titan symbol on Destiny loading screens has a triangle facing the wrong way.
• Players whose Forsaken licenses did not transfer from Blizzard to Steam should retry PC Migration. Additionally, some players experiencing this issue may need to log into Destiny 2 on Steam before retrying migration.
• Receiving "Problem Reading Game Content"  errors after verifying the integrity of game files.

Items and Weapons

• The Executor's Will and Steadfast Hunter faction ornaments  cannot be equipped because the rank requirement is from Season 3
• The  Point of the Stag bow  has the incorrect infusion cap
• The  Seasonal Energy Converter mod  is not working as intended
• The  Font of Light armor mod description  does not match its effect
• The  Anti-Barrier mod prevents Explosive head and other explosive damage on bows.

Exotics

• Merciless' intrinsic perk "Conserve Momentum"  is not increasing the weapons charge rate when the weapon deals non-lethal hits.
• If  Phoenix Cradle boots are equipped, the Sun Warrior buff doesn't work with Sunspots from enemy kills.

Characters

• When holding a sword, the ability to regenerate melee ability won't work for any class.
• The  Wealth of the Emperor buff does not go away, even if the chalice is perfected.

Bounties and Quests

• The Shock-Storm Prismatic Recaster Daily Bounty will not progress with Warlock's Ball Lightning ability.

Triumphs and Collections

• The  Forged in Fire Crucible badge cannot be obtained.

Activities

• The Corrupted Nightfall: The Ordeal has inconsistent respawn locations, causing players to spawn out of bounds.
• Dying to Environmental Hazards or The Architects will sometimes show a  recommended Power Level of 1880947200.

Season of the Worthy Top Issues and Vital Information

General

• We are aware of reports that portions of the Lunar Rasputin bunker may have a higher potential to trigger epileptic seizures or blackouts. Individuals who are susceptible to epileptic seizures, seizures of any kind, or blackouts should exercise caution if they choose to play or watch someone else play this content.
• Players whose Clan Rosters are not loading should ensure that accounts inactive for an extended period of time should be removed from the clan.
• Season Passes will be applied to the first account that signs in. If you plan to Cross Save but will use another character set, it's recommended to set up Cross Save before logging in. For more information, click here.
• Mods only found on gear won’t be unlocked on accounts until they are reacquired.

• Seasonal consumables will be deleted when Season of the Worthy ends.

Bounties and Quests

• Players are stuck on the "Warmind Heuristics" quest step of "The Lie."
• The Seraph Bunker Upgrades list the incorrect requirements to complete the upgrade:
• The EDZ Tier 1 Bunker Upgrade requires completing challenges from Zavala, Shaxx, the Drifter, Banshee-44, and Hawthorne.
• The Moon Tier 1 Bunker Upgrade requires completing Strikes, Crucible matches, Gambit matches, and Nightmare hunt challenges.
• The Io Tier 1 Bunker Upgrade requires completing Flashpoint, Dungeon, and Raid challenges.
• During the Authentication Protocol quest step in the Seraph Warsat Network quest, players need to speak with Rasputin on Io.
• Players who Cross Save to a platform where they do not own Forsaken may lose access to the exotic quest for Truth if they try to complete the quest.

Error Codes

• Error codes BEAVER, ANTEATER, RABBIT, and WATERCRESS.
• PS4 Error CE-34878 or a Steam crash when quitting Destiny 2.

Eververse

• Players who used Bright Dust to buy the Painted Eye Shell received the Beautiful Gravities ship instead.

General

• Some players may not receive rewards from Garden of Salvation encounter chests.
• Some players may not receive progress on Crucible and Iron Banner quests and bounties.

PC

• Players' FPS may reset and lock at 30 FPS when relaunching the game on Steam.

• Receiving "Problem Reading Game Content" errors after verifying the integrity of game files.
• We are investigating various issues reported by players in PC Migration. In the meantime, any player encountering issues should retry PC Migration here.
• All offline players in Clans will not display their name, but instead, will show Offline.

Items

• The engram from the Trials Flawless chest will disappear for players who have earned all available Trials rewards
• World chests in the Dreaming City are not dropping Glimmer.
• The Rifle Reserves mod is not granting extra rifle ammo reserves.
• The Anti-Barrier mod prevents Explosive head and other explosive damage on bows.

Exotics

• The Astrocyte Verse's Move to Survive perk doesn't quickly ready a weapon after a second Blink Jump has been performed
• Devil's Ruin may not fire correctly after a Super has been used.
• The Dunemarcher's Linear Actuators perk will not activate after being triggered on yellow bar enemies.
• If Phoenix Cradle boots are equipped, the Sun Warrior buff doesn't work with Sunspots from enemy kills.
• Polaris Lance's 5th shot explosion cancels on continuous fire.

Characters

• The Wealth of the Emperor buff does not go away, even if the chalice is perfected.
• The Hunter's Weighted Knife doesn't hit crit spots on Vex Goblins.

Triumphs and Collections

• The Trials of Osiris emblems and Collection category cannot be viewed until a player has earned those items.
• The Seraph Public Event Completions Triumph is tracking successful Public Event completions. There is no Heroic version of this Public Event.
• The Forged in Fire Crucible badge cannot be obtained.
• Some Triumphs will display a progress bar even though only one objective needs to be completed.

Activities

• On the Eternity map in the Countdown Crucible game mode, the bomb placements and waypoints are in the incorrect location or do not show up during the first round.
• Certain warnings will appear for Nightfalls that require players to have certain mods equipped. These warnings don't account for teammates' loadouts.

Season of Dawn Top Issues and Vital Information

General

• Players who received an in-game message about receiving Silver to mitigate odd Silver balances should now receive their Silver

Seasonal Content

• To begin the quest for the Bastion Exotic Fusion Rifle, players first need to fully complete the Saint-14 storyline. This includes save Saint-14 and complete the “Recovering the Past”, “An Impossible Task”, and “Completing an Impossible Task” quests, and claiming the “Saintly Savior” Triumph. After doing so, players can visit Saint-14 in the Tower to pick up the “Memento” quest
• The Sundial Fractaline Extractor III obtained from the Nessus obelisk incorrectly states an increased chance to find Polarized Fractaline when completing strikes. The enhancement actually increases the chance to find Polarized Fractaline when completing the Sundial and the Menagerie
• The Extra Sundial Link from the Season Pass won't apply unless all links are reset
• The seal for the "Savior" title incorrectly lists a requirement of 28 Triumphs completed to unlock. The seal will unlock after completing the 15 Triumphs listed in the seal contents
• Players must have linked an Obelisk to the Sundial to receive rewards at the end of the activity
• Seasonal consumables will be deleted when the Season of Dawn ends
• When standing in front of the Obelisk, players can be killed by enemies

Eververse

• Some players see a blue new quest icon where Tess tries to give them a Solstice of Heroes gift
• Players who used Bright Dust to buy the Painted Eye Shell received the Beautiful Gravities ship instead

General

• Some player may experience increased load times when flying in to the Tower.
• Some players see the "New Quest Activity Available" message pop up continuously. Completing or deleting the Bad Juju quest line has helped resolve this issue for some players

PC

• Players whose Forsaken licenses did not transfer from Blizzard to Steam should retry PC Migration. Additionally, some players experiencing this issue may need to log into Destiny 2 on Steam before retrying migration
• Receiving "Problem Reading Game Content" errors after verifying the integrity of game files
• We are investigating various issues reported by players in PC Migration. In the meantime, any player encountering issues should retry PC Migration here
• All offline players in Clans will not display their name, but instead, will show Offline

Items

• Eva's Holiday Oven was not removed from some character’s inventories
• The Anti-Barrier mod prevents Explosive head and other explosive damage on bows
• Black Armory bounties are not awarding experience
• Previewing a Crucible engram does not show the class item armor. The class item armor does still drop from this engram

Exotics

• Ophidian Aspect is only extending the melee lunge range of Warlock charged melees
• Doom Fang Pauldron's Horns of Doom perk sometimes does not grant super energy or recharge the Shield Throw ability
• Symmetry may sometimes fail to fire in full-auto
• If Phoenix Cradle boots are equipped, the Sun Warrior buff doesn't work with Sunspots from enemy kills
• Sunbracers don't restore grenade energy when using top Dawnblade tree
• Polaris Lance's 5th shot explosion cancels on continuous fire
• The MIDA Multi-Tool catalyst won't drop if you win a competitive Crucible match at the Legend rank with clanmates and have the "Catalyst Seeker" clan rank bonus active

Characters

• The Wealth of the Emperor buff does not go away, even if the chalice is perfected
• The Warlock Arc Web grenade perk no longer chain lightnings nearby enemies and does not return energy. 
• The Warlock Ball Lightning melee ability does not count as a melee ability for the “Hands On” class item mod, bounties, or triumphs
• The Prime Attunement buff is not appearing on new characters after previous character deletion
• The Hunter's Tempest Strike melee ability does not work on PC if sprint is set to Hold
• The Hunter's Weighted Knife doesn't hit crit spots on Vex Goblins

Bounties and Quests

• Some vendors are not offering some Weekly and Daily Bounties
• Picking up orbs may not progress the Bright Future quest
• If the Tokens from the Wish Ender quest are pushed out of a player’s Postmaster there is no way to reclaim or reacquire new Tokens
• If the Green With Envy quest is dismantled, players can reacquire it from Zavala
• Players who accept or complete a quest from Osiris will need to back out of his menu entirely and interact with him again to continue picking up other quests. This must be repeated for every quest picked up
• In the Big Vex Hunting quest step, killing Vex Cyclops majors will not award Radiolarian Fluid or Vex Cores
• In the Big Vex Hunting quest step, Vex strike bosses will not progress the quest step. Players should instead kill challenging Vex
• Progress may not count towards the A Matter of Time quest if players return to orbit too quickly after completing the Sundial activity
• Console players without PS+ or Xbox Live Gold on the A Matter of Time quest will receive a 'BANANA' error if they try to queue for the Sundial activity. After returning to orbit, the quest step will auto-complete
• Players who Cross Save to a platform where they do not own Forsaken may lose access to the exotic quest for Malfeasance when they defeat the Ascendant Primeval Servitor
• In Redrix’s Broadsword quest step, The Constant, Crucible weekly and additional bounties will not count

Triumphs and Collections

• The Playin' the Odds emblem cannot be reacquired from the Collections. As a temporary workaround, players can reset their Infamy rank three times during the season. After doing so, the emblem will be guaranteed to drop along with the "Ludomaniacal" emblem variant.
• Players who have earned The Pidgeon and the Phoenix lore book triumphs can no longer see them
• The Kissed By Fire Triumph won't update due to the melee change in the Dawnblade's top tree
• The Forged in Fire Crucible badge cannot be obtained
• Some Triumphs will display a progress bar even though only one objective needs to be completed

Activities

• Players may not be able to progress the Sundial activity if the player who started the encounter dies before their allies join them. Players can work around this issue by quitting the activity or logging out and relaunching Destiny 2
• Certain warnings will appear for Nightfalls that require players to have certain mods equipped. These warnings don't account for teammates' loadouts

Season of the Undying Top Issues and Vital Information

• Pulling Legendary armor from Collections will always give Armor 1.0.
• The Seasonal Artifact will always show a player’s own stats when inspecting another player.
• Mods only found on gear won’t be unlocked on accounts until they are reacquired.  
• Forsaken subclasses are only available with a Forsaken or Shadowkeep license. 
• When inspecting a Cross Saved player's friends list, players may see another player's gamertag from a different platform. 
• Universal Ornaments will only appear on certain Legendary armor pieces called Armor 2.0. These armor pieces will show an Energy cost on them.

General

• The MIDA Multi-Tool catalyst won't drop if you win a competitive Crucible match at the Legend rank with clanmates and have the "Catalyst Seeker" clan rank bonus active.
• Unknown items are taking up Postmaster slots.

Purchases

• Players whose Forsaken licenses did not transfer from Blizzard to Steam should retry PC Migration.

PC

• Receiving "Problem Reading Game Content" errors after verifying the integrity of game files.
• We are investigating various issues reported by players in PC Migration. In the meantime, any player encountering issues should retry PC Migration here.
• Fireteam chat will not work when Steam is offline.
• All offline players in Clans will not display their name, but instead, will show Offline.
• If players create a Fireteam while Steam is down, other players will never be able to join them

New Light

• Some players who started D2 right before October 1 will still be at 0 Power when logging in. To resolve this, players will need to delete that character.
• Player’s Origin Story and Last Dance weapons may disappear when completing the Red War mission, “Journey.”
• Certain Achievements/Trophies can only be unlocked by owning Forsaken (e.g. a third subclass, reaching the Dreaming City, and 5000 triumph score).
• Only newly created Guardians can unlock the Show Me What You Got Achievement/Trophies

Quests

• Players who Cross Save to a platform where they do not own Forsaken may lose access to the exotic quest for Malfeasance when they defeat the Ascendant Primeval Servitor.
• The “complete ten legendary frames” steps for the Jötunn and Le Monarque Exotic quests is currently only counting curated weapon drops from Black Armory forges.
• Black Armory Keys cannot be used or deleted if the Mysterious Box quest has already been completed.
• If the Firewall quest step is dismantled after completing Eris' weekly bounty, players have to wait a week before they can obtain a new one.  
• If the Luna’s Calling weekly quest is deleted before collecting rewards and the bounty is reclaimed, players will have to wait a week to complete it.
• In Redrix’s Broadsword quest step, The Constant, Crucible weekly and additional bounties will not count.

Bounties

• Players may intermittently experience delayed loot drops and/or bounty progression.
• Completing Eris’ weekly bounty before certain quests are acquired will result in players having to wait a week to obtain another weekly bounty. 

Triumphs and Seals

• Some triumphs will display a progress bar even though only one objective needs to be completed.
• The MMXIX Seal went away for players who met the requirements to obtain it.
• The Wisdom of the Witch Triumph progress won’t count because Pilgrimage patrols from Shuro Chi in the Dreaming City will not complete.
• The Show Your Manners Triumph is not rewarding the Ennead emblem as intended.

Activities

• The text for the Weekly Vanguard Strike Challenge is incorrect. Players should match the elemental singe to progress this Challenge.
• Titans in Momentum Control are unable to throw multiple hammers or shields during their Super.
• Certain warnings will appear for Nightfalls that require players to have certain mods equipped. These warnings don't account for teammates' loadouts.

Destinations

• Transitioning between areas in the Pit of Heresy Dungeon may result in unintentional character death. This will not prevent players from completing flawless dungeon runs.
• The Tribute Hall cannot be opened for some players.
