Twitch Drop campaigns are an exciting way for players to receive in-game loot by watching participating Destiny 2 Twitch streams!

To get started collecting free in-game loot, players must ensure that their Twitch and Bungie accounts are actively connected. This can be accomplished by following the steps below.

Collecting Loot Offers

Upon successful connection of a player's Bungie and Twitch account, all that's left is to start viewing a participating Destiny 2 stream on Twitch. Once you've watched the stream for X** amount of time, you'll be prompted to accept your award on Twitch, and, from there, it will automatically be deposited in Destiny 2 to your Collections under Flair>Emblems>General.

Players may have to log into their Bungie.net account and go to the Partner Rewards section of their Code Redemption area and claim the emblem before it will appear in Destiny 2. If the item doesn't appear, pressing the 'Refresh' button may help.

**Note: The amount of viewing time needed in order to earn the Twitch Drop will vary for each Destiny 2 Twitch Drop event. Bungie will announce how long players will need to view a stream in order to earn the reward shortly prior to the start of the event, as well as during the event. Players should keep an eye on official Bungie social media profiles for relevant announcements.

Vital Information

When should players have their Bungie account connected to their Twitch account?

Players should be advised that in order to participate in Destiny 2 Twitch Drops, they'll need to ensure that their Bungie account is successfully connected to their Twitch account no less than 12 hours prior to the start of any Destiny 2 Twitch Drop event. If a player connects any later, it cannot be guaranteed that their connection will be active in time for the scheduled Twitch Drop event.

Can players unlink their account from Twitch or is the link permanent?

Yes, players can unlink their accounts at any point in time by simply going back into your Bungie account link settings and clicking the red "Unlink Account" button to the right in the Twitch section.

How long do players need to watch a participating stream in order to receive the reward?

The amount of viewing time needed in order to earn the Twitch Drop will vary for each Destiny 2 Twitch Drop event. Bungie will announce how long players will need to view a stream in order to earn the reward shortly prior to the start of the event, as well as during the event. Players should keep an eye on official Bungie social media profiles for relevant announcements.

Can Players have multiple Bungie accounts connected to the same Twitch account?

No, players should ensure they only have one Bungie account connected per Twitch Account. If for any reason players attempt to connect multiple Bungie accounts to a single Twitch account, Bungie can not guarantee player eligibility for the Twitch Drop event.

Do streamers need to ensure their Bungie account is connected to Twitch?

Yes. If you're a participating streamer in a Destiny 2 Twitch Drop event, ideally you'll need to ensure your streaming account is successfully connected within 12 hours of the start of the Destiny 2 Twitch Drop event in which you're participating in order for players/viewers to be able to collect in-game loot from the event.

What should I do if I watch for 30 minutes but the reward is missing?

Not to worry! While we're pretty confident that there shouldn't be any issues; players that encounter missing rewards need only to go to our Partner Rewards page and click the "Refresh" button that's located to the right of "Missing Twitch Rewards." The item might not appear on the page but should appear in the game shortly after a restart.

What else can I do if the reward is still missing?

Please log into Destiny 2 and verify that the item is not appearing in your Collections. If it's an emblem, it will appear under Flair>Emblems>General.

If the item hasn't appeared, it's recommended to log into Bungie.net with your Twitch account, go to our Partner Rewards page, and click the "Refresh" button that's located to the right of "Missing Twitch Rewards." The item might not appear on the page but should appear in the game shortly after a restart.

Troubleshooting

Player who are having issues acquiring their Destiny 2 Twitch Drops need to confirm that they successfully earned the Twitch Drops by locating their "Redeem Code" page in their Bungie.net profile and then clicking on "Partner Rewards." All earned Destiny 2 Twitch Drops will appear on this page.

Any Twitch Drop that is an emblem will show up in a player's Destiny 2 Collections under Flair>Emblems>General if the player's Destiny 2 account is connected to their Bungie.net profile.

For players unable to locate their Destiny 2 Twitch Drops:

  1. Click the "Refresh" button at the top of the page beside "Missing Twitch Rewards" and the page will update with any Twitch Drops that were earned.
  2. If the Twitch Drop doesn't appear, players need to log in to Twitch's website and view their Drops Inventory to see all Drops earned, click on the "Claim" button on any Destiny 2 Drops that have that option below them, go back to their Partner Rewards area, and click the "Refresh" button to get the Drops to appear.
    • Unearned Destiny 2 Twitch Drops will not appear on this page.

If the Twitch Drops don't appear, players may need to connect or reconnect their Twitch account to their Bungie.net profile and follow the above steps.
