This error appears to players who are not signed in with their platform account, or if their platform service is undergoing maintenance.

Additionally, this error may appear to console players if their PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription has expired.

Players in a Korean IGR may encounter this general network disconnect error when their allotted purchased internet usage time has run out or their online account plan has expired resulting in a forced disconnect from Destiny services.

Buffalo Error on PC:

Players may encounter Buffalo errors when logging in to Destiny 2 on multiple PCs simultaneously. To prevent this issue, players must ensure they are logged out of Destiny 2 on any PC that they do not intend to play on when encountering this error. Furthermore, players encountering this error code on PC are advised to restart the platform program they're trying to log into the game with (Steam / Epic Game Store / Xbox Cloud Gaming).
