Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Collectors Edition FAQ

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep marks the beginning of Year 3 in Destiny 2. Players will gain access to a brand new story campaign on the Moon destination, along with new activities, increased Power, and more.  Shadowkeep will be released on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 .

Q: I received my voucher code but it doesn't work!

A: The voucher code for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be available for pre-load on consoles on September 30, 2019. Voucher codes for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep on Steam are available for pre-load starting September 24, 2019. To redeem your voucher, please use the following instructions:

PS4

        1. Open a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, or use your existing PSN ID.
        2. Select the PlayStation Store icon on the PS4 system home screen.
        3. On the PlayStation Store, select "Redeem Codes" at the bottom of the menu.
        4. Enter the code.
        5. Once the code has been entered correctly, select "Continue" on the dialog box.
        6. Select "Confirm" to accept the Trial Code Terms of Service.
        7. Select "Continue" to complete code redemption.

 

PS4 Voucher Code Redemption Troubleshooting

 

Xbox

        1. Sign in to your Xbox One (make sure youre signed in with the Microsoft account you want to redeem the code with).
        2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then select "Home."
        3. Scroll right and choose the "Store" tab.
        4. Choose "Use a code."
        5. Enter the 25-character code, then follow the prompts. Dont worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.

        1. Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account.
        2. In the lower left-hand corner, click "Add a Game." 
        3. Choose "Activate a Product on Steam..."
        4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Q: How do I download the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Original Soundtrack?

A: On September 30, 2019, download instructions will be sent to the email address used to purchase the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Collectors Edition. Check your Inbox/Spam folder for an email from sender "Bungie Store Downloads" and follow the steps included to download the soundtrack.

Q: I tried to redeem my emblem code but the code redemption portal says it is not active! 

A: All in-game pre-order bonuses (emblems, ornaments, etc.) will be accessible when Destiny 2: Shadowkeep launches on October 1, 2019, after completing the first mission on the Moon then visiting Eris Morn. 

Once the redemption code has been activated, it can be applied on your Bungie.net redemption history page.
