Destiny 2 Known Issues and Vital Information – Bungie Help

This is not a complete list of all known issues, but a targeted list of specific issues.

Vital Information The following callouts contain important information that players should be aware of before logging in to Destiny 2.

Players progressing through the Renegades campaign in a fireteam should avoid joining missions in-progress or swapping characters during the campaign to ensure progress is correctly recorded.
Season Passes will be applied to the first account that signs in. If you plan to Cross Save but will use another character set, it's recommended to set up Cross Save before logging in. For more information, click here.
Changing the platform setting "Others can communicate w/ voice, text, or invites" does not take effect until the game has been restarted.
Players running Destiny with an integrated graphics card may encounter gameplay performance issues if the integrated graphics card does not meet the minimum required PC specs.
- Laptops with Intel 12th generation Iris integrated graphics may crash in high-demand environments. Players can mitigate these crashes by ensuring Windows 10 is set to use only discrete graphics when running Destiny 2 via Windows->Settings->Graphics Settings, and selecting "High Performance" for Destiny 2.
Players using the PlayStation 4 version of Destiny 2 who receive BOAR errors should ensure that they have successfully downloaded the necessary Compatibility Files prior to entering the game.
Epic Games Store players receiving "Time Skew Maxed" and RUTABEGA errors may need to update their launcher. If this doesn't help, players may have to press the Escape Key repeatedly after selecting a character to skip the opening cinematic.

Top Issues Being Investigated

General

Players purchasing the Light and Dark Saga Dungeon Key Pack with full quest or consumables inventories may not receive access to the Dungeons. Players affected by this issue should reach out to us via our Missing Purchases contact form while we work to resolve the underlying issue.
Flipping through pages in the Expansions tab can cause a visual issue where some tabs display Silver prices over slots that hold items that cannot be bought with Silver.
Some players are reporting issues claiming Hawthorne's weekly clan engram.
The Eternal title doesn't count towards an account's total titles.
Luminescent Seeds cannot be dismantled in Inventory.
Previewing some Festival of the Lost masks in Collections will bring up the incorrect visuals.

Renegades

We've identified an issue where Renegades campaign activities and Lawless Frontier Jobs default to Normal difficulty. Players can set the difficulty to Expert when launching into these activities if they would like to earn greater rewards. Completing Jobs on either difficulty will not impact Legendary campaign completion triumphs.

Activities and Portal

The Inverted Spire Nightfall (non-Portal variant) is not providing rewards at the end of the activity.
The Voltaic Overflow buff does not drop in the Garden of Salvation raid's opening encounter when encounter start is triggered by killing the minotaur.
In rare instances, players who are pulled forward into the Epoptes encounter in The Desert Perpetual (Epic) can get stuck in a black screen until the fireteam wipes.
Advanced difficulty Portal activities cannot be launched with the Avante-Garde modifier active.
Titans who enter Brig vehicles with the Thruster class ability and a Sword equipped are unable to exit the vehicle.
The displayed combatant power on enemies in some Conquests is too high. This is a visual-only issue.
The Consecrated Mind boss in the Garden of Salvation raid no longer has a unique movement animation for diving in and out of the floor.
Players are unable to complete Altar of Reflection: Catalyst due to one of the bosses staying immune.

Abilities

The Unbreakable Void Aspect is not activating while using Shackle Grenades with a Sword equipped.
Sentinel Shield can be pushed back while blocking by AOEs that create knockback.
The Ascension alternate Hunter class ability does not activate all class-ability triggered effects reliably.
Needlestorm does not track consistently to some bosses.
The description for the Weaver's Call aspect does not mention that its threadlings generate ability energy.
Child of the Old Gods is not granting class ability energy when drained enemies are killed by weapon damage.
The Hunter Prismatic grenade will dislodge from an enemy if it is subsequently hit with an Area Denial frame grenade launcher.
Quickly shattering an Overload champion shortly after a previous stun ends may not suppress its health regeneration.
The Roaring Flames Titan aspect is not activating on ignitions caused by weapons.

Weapons and Perks

Wolfsbane's light attacks are displaying the visual effects of Void instead of Solar.
Activating Banshee's Wail on The Lament prevents it from activating sword artifact perks.
Khvostov 7G-0X does not gain stacks of Eyes Up, Guardian when picking up Orbs of Power while the Warlock Song of Flame super is active.
The quick preview for Heirloom does not display the catalyst name.
Merciless does not gain stacks when shooting behind a Sentinel Shield.
Lumina's Blessing of the Sky buff overrides the Radiant buff for Hunters using Golden Gun, causing Golden Gun to not receive bonus damage.
The Aggregate Charge basic trait is not counting Hunter Tethers as a debuff.
Enhanced Ricochet Rounds are not granting an increased stat bonus like other enhanced perks, and are instead only granting the non-enhanced bonus.
Some Renegades weapons are not displaying their actual magazine totals accurately.
The charge rate weapon mod is not increasing the charge rate on fusion rifles.
The short description for Lorentz Driver's perk is missing.
Heavy Crossbows are not piercing non-champion immunity shields with Anti-Barrier bow eqiuipped.
Glaive or melee kills may increment kill trackers for other weapons.

Armor and Perks

The Graviton Forfeit helmet cannot be focused at Master Rahool.
Young Ahamkara's Spine grenade energy grants for Tripmine grenades are inconsistent.
Oathkeeper's meter resets when any damage from weapon perks triggers instead of just bow damage.
Grapple Melee with Sealed Ahamkara Grasps does not proc the Nightmare Fuel perk.
The Covert Ranger Cloak ornament does not properly move with the character model and physics.
The Hunter Polar Wolf helmet is not displaying its ears with the hood down.
The Jade Rabbit Gauntlets cause the player's hand placement to be incorrect when holding weapons.
Armamentarium is not reloading the Heirloom Exotic weapon.
When some Exotic armors are equipped, it is not increasing the New Gear Armor damage resistance stat when previewing the artifact. This is a display-only issue, the Exotics are applying their damage resistance but not increasing the counter.
Grenade kickstart armor charges are consumed when players use a grapple.

Quests and Triumphs

The description for the Vanguard Alerts: Challenges weekly objective incorrectly references general activity challenges in its description. This objective can be progressed with Vanguard Alert activity challenges or Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts.
Players experiencing issues meditating at Ikora to unlock additional subclass options should check if they have acquired the "Exotic Subclass" quests, and try abandoning those.
Iron Banner emblem trackers are not properly tracking all stats.
The Sintering lore book is not counting as fully completed when all lore entries have been acquired.

Identity and Expression

The Stars Crossed emblem is missing from Collections.
The Sweaty Confetti combat flair is missing its activation audio.
We're aware of an issue where those who purchase the Powder Blue Porcelain Pack in Eververse receive the Delicate Shell from the Event Track instead of the intended Painted Elytra Shell. Players who purchase this pack will receive the missing item after Dawning ends (exact delivery date TBD). Players who inadvertently purchase it twice will be refunded as well.
